Curry Sauce Cubes Recipe (not for sale)
Chopped onion - 2, Garlic -Â 2 cloves, Ginger - same quantity as garlic, Tomato - 1, Turmeric - 1 tsp, Coriander seeds - 3 tsp, Cumin seeds - 3 tsp, Mustard seeds - 1 tsp, butter - 1 tsp, Red chili - 1, Paprika - half tsp, Salt to taste, Fenugreek leaf - half tsp, water -Â 8 cups
Boil water and add all ingredients at once. Let it simmer on low heat until the mix of water and ingredients reduce to 1/4 of the original volume (reduce to 2 cups).
Let the mix cool down and grind in food processor into thick sauce. Freeze the sauce as ice cubes.
Usage example: Add 4 cubes in hot pan, let it melt. On low heat, add one or two boiled potato and cook for 5 min. Potato curry is ready. Top it with butter and serve it garnished with coriander leaves.
